3-Step Process to Run Biometric Attendance Smoothly
- Ensure the internet connection is switched on and working properly.
- Turn on the biometric device.
- Turn on the computer which have the biometric setup installed.
That’s it, the system is ready to use.
Biometric Attendance not Working: General Troubleshooting
- Verify that the internet connection is active.
- Check if the biometric device is powered on and connected to the internet.
- Ensure the computer is switched on and the Classunify Synchronizer is running.
- Check whether data is being synchronised in: ERP → Settings → Attendance Logs
If attendance data is visible in the logs, the system is functioning correctly.
Troubleshooting for a Particular Student
- Go to: ERP → Settings → Attendance Logs
- Search using the Student ID (e.g., ABC1234) and select a date range of at least 3 months.
- If attendance data is found → The biometric card is working correctly.
- If no data is found → The student may not be marking attendance properly.
How to Turn Off the Biometric Device
- Press and hold the power button (bottom-left) for 5 seconds until the device shuts down.
